Biru Patra - Physiotherapist, PT, MPT
Biru is a Registered Physiotherapist, earning his Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Disorders from S.V. National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research and a bachelor’s degree in Physical therapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. He has experience working in physiotherapy clinics and long term care facilities in Canada. Additionally, he has five years of international experience working in a multiple-disciplinary Hospital, treating a number of clients related to sports injuries, workplace related injury, orthopedic conditions, replacement surgeries and neurological rehabilitation.
Biru is particularly interested in treating acute and chronic pain due to musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries and postural dysfunction. His clinical interests are always to work towards helping each individual to achieve their functional goals and get them back to living their life to their fullest potential possible. He loves and enjoys helping people of all ages from children to older adults through their rehabilitation and recovery. He strongly believes that “An adequate Physical exercise program including stretching, strengthening and lifestyle changes can balance our everyday lives”.
In his free time, he loves to go for a bicycle ride, trekking and as an indoor pastime, he loves to do painting and reading.
Treating hours: Tuesdays and Saturdays 10:00am - 2:00pm
